Since the advent of vacuum cleaner bags in the early 1900's, they have remained a widely used cleaning product. However, with the addition of bag less vacuum cleaners to the market, consumers often wonder which is the better choice. Because vacuum bags are not very expensive or hard to replace, the only real drawback to these is the inconvenience in checking to see if the bag is full.

Now however, many bagged cleaners come equipped with an indicator light that lets you know when the bag has reached its maximum capacity. Bag less cleaners require you to clean and empty a filter when it gets full. Replacement parts are also more expensive for these types of vacuums, but it is truly a matter of personal preference.
