Types of Vacuum Cleaners

Throughout the years since the first vacuum cleaner, there have been various types of cleaners introduced on the market. As mentioned earlier, the very first vacuum cleaner was the upright vacuum. This was the first cleaner to use vacuum cleaner bags. The bag would attach to the handle and collect dust and debris from the carpet as the cleaner moved around. Canister models have become popular within society as well. These vacuums feature a motor and vacuum cleaner bag which are mounted in separate canister units. There are various other models as well, but these two are the most common.
